"Fool Me Once, Fool Me Twice"
Acrylic painting

Have you ever put your faith so completely and wholeheartedly into something, just to find out that someone was using you, your time, and your resources to fill their pockets?
In 2024, I fell for a scam that seemed to be very true and reasonable. I was a part of a self-development club that started gaining traction and popularity. And scam artists have obviously recognized the vast opportunity in the club's expansion. Pretending to be a higher-level member, one individual totally got my trust. Everything made perfect sense. Investing in oneself and crypto had it's hype and was encouraged. I felt cared for and guided every step of the way. Only to find out that all that care was aimed at me, draining my pockets. That trauma even taught me a great lesson for life and opened up a well of wisdom
When you finally let go of the overwhelming idea that the external world is constantly fooling you, even though it is, you learn to accept it in all its magnificent colors, and love it just the way you are. Go figure.
